 Technical Paper Submission – ICWES20

Welcome to the Technical Paper Submission portal for the 20th International Conference of Women Engineers and Scientists (ICWES20).

All authors with accepted abstracts are required to upload their final submission through the PTCWEN Portal Platform on or before May 31, 2026 .

🔹 Submission Options

Authors may choose one of the following:

  1. Full Paper Submission

    • For inclusion in the ICWES20 e-Proceedings

    • Selected papers may be endorsed for publication in the Philippine Journal of Science (subject to peer review)

  2. Extended Abstract Submission

    • Required for all oral presenters not submitting a full paper

    • Will be included in the official conference e-Proceedings

  3. Poster Submission

    • Poster presenters must upload their final poster (PDF format)

🔹 Important Reminders

  • All submissions must follow the official templates and author guidelines available on the ICWES20 website

  • Ensure that your work aligns with one of the conference thematic areas

  • Only submissions uploaded through the portal will be accepted (email submissions will not be considered)

  • File naming format: Country_LastName_Type (e.g., Philippines_DelaCruz_FullPaper)

🔹 Required Information

Before uploading, please prepare:

  • Final manuscript (Full Paper or Extended Abstract)

  • Author details and affiliation

  • Selected thematic area

  • Mode of presentation (Oral / Poster)

🔹 Confirmation

After successful Submission, you will receive a confirmation notice. The Technical Paper Committee will review submissions for completeness and compliance.


📌 Note: Even if a full paper is not submitted, accepted abstracts and extended abstracts will still be included in the conference proceedings .

  1. Create an Account

    • Click the link above and register for a new account

    • Use a valid email address

    • A confirmation email will be sent to activate your account

    • If you do not see the email, please check your Spam/Junk folder

  2. Login to the Portal

    • After activation, log in using your credentials

  3. Access the ICWES20 Submission Area

    • Select the ICWES20 submission portal

    • Follow the instructions to upload your files

  • Oral presentations are in-person only

  • Accepted abstracts will be included in the conference e-Proceedings even without a full paper

Dr. Sarah Peers

INWES President

As Head of Academic Skills at New Model Institute for Technology & Engineering (NMITE) a new university in England with a new approach to engineering education, Sarah leads on the mathematics pedagogy and the so-called soft skills for NMITE’s degree programmes. She also drives NMITE’s Access and Participation Plan for diversity and inclusion, for gender, neurodiversity, social mobility.

Sarah’s degrees are largely mathematical followed by a mechanical engineering PhD in the application of AI and reliability tools to the maintenance of structures. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications (IMA), a Fellow of the Institute of Innovation & Knowledge Exchange (IKE) and Advisor to the IKE’s STEM Foundation. She has expertise in skills strategy and policy development for innovation, STEAM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics and the arts) education, and she was integral to the development of Uruguay’s national “STEM Plan” for gender in schools.

Sarah has over 30 years of engineering education experience at multiple levels, tempered with consultancy for industry. She has championed gender equality in STEM since 1992 and has been active in INWES for 10 years. She believes in global collaboration to improve the lives of women and men.
