About the Philippine Technological Council (PTC)
About the Philippine Technological Council Women Engineers Network (PTC-WEN)
As a commitment to the ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organizations (AFEO), PTC has established the Women Engineers Network (WEN). WEN is an organization of women engineers representing national engineering organizations under the umbrella of the Philippine Technological Council (PTC) and the official representative to the Women Engineers of the ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organizations (WEAFEO). Aware of the important roles of engineering in the advancement of social, economic, and industrial development of the Philippines, its objectives are as follows:
- To promote understanding, goodwill and cooperation among women engineers;
- To promote exchanges of ideas, concerns and experiences (best practices);
- To support the purposes and objectives of PTC and WEAFEO.
